Is this thing on?

Hmmm ...my first blog. What to say to the vast nothingness out there? Okay, here we go.

I've been deeply disturbed recently (okay, yes, for years now) about the current political views I'm supposed to have since I'm a Christian. I've felt very alone in my views, aside from my gripe sessions with my beloved spouse. I'm not eloquent or as informed as I'd like to be, so many times I rely on the words of others. Otherwise, I end up with my size 9 shoe in my mouth. I found this statement whilst searching the Sojourners website and, for the moment, it seems to fit my philosophy. I think it's excellently worded. Obviously I couldn't have said it better myself.

I feel much better now knowing I'm not alone.
